The company is led by Daniel Prokopy, a solar executive with more than 18 years of international experience in project development, finance, procurement, construction, and asset management. Before founding i.on renewables, Daniel held senior leadership roles in the U.S. and European solar markets, with responsibility for solar development, project finance, procurement, construction, and executive management.

His experience includes leading commercial and utility-scale solar projects from early-stage development through financing, procurement, construction, and project sale, including the 20 MW Mid Island Solar Farm in Brookhaven, Long Island.

Through i.on renewables, Daniel brings hands-on development expertise, institutional transaction experience, and deep procurement knowledge to projects across New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maine, Vermont, and the broader Northeast. The company works with municipalities, landowners, investors, EPC contractors, and strategic partners to advance solar projects from site selection and permitting through financing, construction, and long-term operation
